Passage to Alaska

Cruising to Alaska Glaciers

Our way of life is based on climate as we know it. That is changing rapidly today. Widespread loss of glaciers will likely alter climate patterns and intensify natural disasters. As the planet’s air conditioner, the polar ice caps impact weather and climate dynamics. Glaciers are reservoirs of water that replenish oceans raising sea water levels. They are also sentinels of climate change and are the most visible evidence of global warming today.
So enjoy the photos of the glaciers while they are still around.
